Individual State Economies
Funds are released to States in the normal course as per the recommendations of the Finance Commission and as Central assistance under the Scheme of Financing of State's Annual Plan. In the present scheme of things, the Central assistance for State Plans is divisible in three broad categories:
- Normal Central assistance to various States on the basis of Gadgil Mookherjee formula (NCA)
- Additional Central assistance for EAP (ACA - EAP)
- Others - largely including assistance for earmarked hybrid type of schemes where Central Ministries are entrusted with the monitoring responsibility.
- Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme (AIBP)
- Accelerated Power Development Reform Programme (APDRP)
- Border Area Development Programme (BADP)
- Hill Area Development Programme/Western Ghats Development Programme (HADP/WGDP)
- Additional Central Assistance for Slum Development Schemes (SDS)
- Tribal Sub Plan
- Pradhan Mantri Gramodya Yojana (PMGY)
- Additional Central Assistance for roads and bridges
- Additional Central assistance for shifting cultivation
- National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP)
- Rural Electrification
- Development Reform Facility (DRF)
- Control of Shifting Cultivation
