Indian Grain Storage Management and Research Institute (IGMRI), Hapur, is engaged in the training and R&D work relating to grain storage management. At present, the Institute has three field stations at Hyderabad, Jorhat and Ludhiana. The training courses organised by the IGMRI are on storage, inspection of foodgrains, pest control, etc., for the officers of storage agencies, pest control operators, etc., engaged in handling and storage of foodgrains.
