Live Web Acquisition Tool is an indigenously developed tool for live acquisition of data from a system hosting website. It acquires digital evidence as available over web in the form of webpages forensically. The Standalone version of the tool is ready to use on standalone PCs and the Web integration of the same is under progress. The tool is capable of capturing the online digital evidences and also captures the whole investigation process.

It is a web based system for recording, searching and managing the cases of cyber-crime as submitted by police. It's features includes automatic updating the chain of custody details, easy management of cases submitted to the lab, details of the case exhibits and case delivery status.
