The centrally sponsored "National Scheme of Incentive to Girls for Secondary Education (NSIGSE)" was launched in May 2008, to give incentive to students enrolled in class IX. The scheme is now boarded on National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

National Programme of Nutritional Support to Primary Education (NP-NSPE) was launched on 15th August, 1995. In 2008-09, the scheme was extended to cover children of upper primary classes and the Scheme was renamed as 'National Programme of Mid-Day Meal in Schools', popularly known as Mid-Day Meal Scheme covers all school children studying in I - VIII classes in Government and Government-aided schools, Special Training Centres (STCs) and Madrasas & Maktabs supported under Samagra Shiksha.
