The GIS enabled Online inventory of springs will help in mapping of springs, analyzing their health status, quality of water, discharge capacity and other physical, chemical and biological properties. Ministry of Tribal Affairs is fully committed to the smooth and effective implementation of the Direct Benefits Transfer (DBT). DBT aims to bring transparency, eliminate misuse of funds and enable enhanced monitoring of the Schemes implemented by the Government of India. In DBT, benefit or subsidy will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Public Finance Management System (PFMS) acts as the common Platform for DBT. All State Governments/ UTs shall upload data regarding DBT Transactions on the portal for every month by the 4th day of the next month.
