The Mission envisages empowering our national academic and R&D institutions spread over the country by installing a vast supercomputing grid comprising of more than 70 high-performance computing facilities. The Indian museum, located at 27, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Park Street area. Kolkata, West Bengal-700016, popularly known as ‘Jadughar’ is the ninth oldest museum across the world. It is the largest museum across India and boasts exquisite collections of ancient sculpture, antiques, ornaments, paintings, fossils and other cultural and natural specimens. The museum was established by the Asiatic Society of Bengal in 1814. Designed by Walter B Granville, the museum has two wings converging on a portico supported by Corinthian columns.
