Students from Nagaland need to appear the All India Joint Entrance Exam in order to be eligible for admission into various degree technical courses. The admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NIT’s, IIT’s, other Centrally funded Technical Institutions including institutions funded by various States shall include the performance of the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE(Main). The JEE(Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE(Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for undergraduate programmes offered by the IIT’s.
