The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to assess and accredit institutions of higher education in the country. Users can access information on stages/steps in the process of assessment and accreditation, benefits, criteria for assessment procedures and the fee structure for institutional accreditation of a college and university. Information is also available on documents to be submitted to NAAC for applying for assessment and accreditation. List of accredited and re-accredited institutions under new methodology is also available.
