Kendriya Vidyalaya Ajni Nagpur, Mumbai was established in the year 1993 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Udhampur, which is crowned with the title of the SMART SCHOOL in the state, is deemed to be one of the first generation institutions of its kind in our country under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
