Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sukma was established on 08 August 2017 as a Civil Sector School. The school functions with two section from class I to VI with a strength of 348 students and 14 staff.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Barrackpore (AFS) was established in the year 1964 under the head of Central School Organization. A small school run by the Air Force Organization was taken up and renamed as Central School with a strength of 300 students.
