Mekhla is a type of traditional dress material made of Muga silk, the queen of textile fibre, is a variety of wild silk which is geographically tagged. The silk is has a natural yellowish-golden tint with a shimmering and glossy texture. These materials are often used to create a variety of garments, including saris, dupattas, and salwar kameez. They have patterns that include motifs of animals, birds, human forms, flowers, diamond, and celestial phenomenon. These indigenous patterns are woven by tribal and non-tribal weavers.
