Kendriya Vidyalaya Meghahatuburu- a prime educational institution in the locality is situated in the lap of Saranda forest. This Vidyalaya is located at Meghahatuburu in the West Singhbhum district amidst the scenic beauty of nature which is best known as a hill station of Jharkhand.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Malappuram was established in 1986 under the able guidance of the founder Principal Sri N V Namboodirpad under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The VIdyalaya is situated in the valley of Nubra River in Diskit which is a subdivision and a tehsil in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. Its inhabited areas form a tri-armed valley cut by the Nubra and Shyok rivers. Its Tibetan name Ldumra means "the valley of flowers"

Kendriya Vidyalaya AMC, Lucknow was established in the year 1963 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

National Awards to Teachers was instituted in 1958. The purpose of the scheme is to celebrate the unique contribution of some of the finest teachers in the country and to honor those teachers who through their commitment have not only improved the quality of school education but also enriched the lives of their students.
