The Department of Clinical Psychology was set up in the year 2002 as an independent department, with Dr. Maitreyee Dutta's joining as a Clinical Psychologist. From 2002 to 2010, the thrust area of the department was to provide clinical services to the patients and families visiting the out-patient and in-patient units.
