The services of Department of Geriatric Mental Health were initiated at Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH) from 1st of August 2021. The department is involved in providing specialized mental health services to persons older than 60 years of age as well as training and academic exposure in the field of geriatric mental health.
