The Department of Libraries & Research, Leh is upholding the long tradition of Public Library Service in District Leh dating back to 1958. The Department is engaged in the dissemination of knowledge and information by way of providing free library and reading room facilities to people of Leh through its network of Public Libraries in the UT.
