August augurs the arrival of several festivals across the nation. Independence Day will be celebrated for the 73rd time on 15th August, 2019. It is another momentous occasion observed annually when the citizens can pause to honor the memory of all freedom fighters whose persistent albeit varied efforts with different ideologies have enabled us to cherish the fruits of freedom that was earnt with supreme sacrifices by all. This month also sees celebration of festivals from multiple faiths such as Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid), Parsi New Year's day/ Nauraj, Raksha Bandhan & Janmashtami.
