Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India has formulated policy guidelines for Television Rating Agencies to operate in India. These guidelines shall be applicable to all rating agencies providing television rating services in India and shall come into force after 30 days from the date of issuance of the same. All rating agencies, including the existing rating agency, shall require registration from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in accordance with the terms and conditions prescribed under these guidelines.
