Kendriya Vidyalaya, (Hindi for Central School) is a system of Central government schools for children of employees of India's central government. The system came into being in 1965 and has been affiliated to CBSE since then. Initially called Central School, it was started mainly to cater to the children of people in the defence services who were often posted to remote places.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.5, Mansarovar, Jaipur was established in the year 1994 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhilwara, Rajasthan was established in the year 1994 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya B.S.F Khajuwala, Rajasthan was established in the year 1997 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Army Jodhpur, Jaipur was established in the year 1976 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 6 is established in 1997, situated in apex town-city Sanganer which is free from hustle bustle and polluted environment of city life. School is established in sponsorship of Rajasthan Housing Board, Jaipur providing double story infrastructure with land of total 23702 sqm with all facilities required for the school.

The Vidyalaya came into existence in 1986 under the Ministry of Education. Initially It was started in the campus of famous Rani Shakti Temple and ran for about seven years there and then shifted to the present location-own building-in Sept.1992.
