Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Puducherry division has been started functioning in this Department during the year 1996. The aim of this division is to educate the consumer about their rights, duties and responsibilities, Redressal and consumer education. Consumer can able to set right their grievance though Consumer Courts viz. District Forum and District Commission.
