As per the Business of Government of Puducherry (Allocation) Rules, 1963, the no. of subjects comes under the purview of Finance Department are Budget and Accounts of the Union Territory, Rules and orders regarding control of expenditure and financial procedures, Interpretation of financial and accounts rules, Scrutiny of financial sanctions, Delegation of financial powers and Pension and Gratuity etc.
