The Gujarat State Human Rights Commission is an autonomous state body with quasi-judicial powers, tasked with investigating any violation of human rights in the western state of Gujarat, India. The Commission was formed on 12 September 2006, with Justice D.S. Sinha as its first chairperson. The Gujarat State Human Rights Commission has been constituted under the Government Home Department Notification No.GG/52/2006/HRC/1094/ GOI-I (Part-2)/N Dtd.12/7/2006.
