India- Water Resource Information System (WRIS) was created by the MoWR, RD&GR (now MoJS), vide notification of March 28th, 2018, to be a repository of nation-wide water resources data, providing a 'Single Window' source of updated data on water resources & allied themes as a part of the National Hydrology Project.
