Established under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, the Vidyalaya started in the old building, which earlier inside the CME campus in the year September 1982.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Namkum is a Defence Sector Kendriya Vidyalaya situated within Namkum Cantt., Near Indian Lac Research Institute on Tata Road. It is 9 to 10 Km. from Ranchi Railway station and about 7 Km. away from Katatoli Bus, Ranchi.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Guntur (Affiliated number 100014) was established on August 15, 1980 in the Hindu College Campus and later the school was transferred to its permanent new building on December 8, 1991. It is located in Nalapadu, on the left side of Guntur-Narasaraopet road, 10 kilometers from the railway station Guntur and 12 km away from the APSRTC bus stand Guntur.

The vidyalaya was established in 1996 in 4.083 Hectors of land at Port Bair. The vidyalaya is under the civil sector and has an enrollment of 1535 as on date comprising 785 boys and 750 girls. It is a three section school from I to X and has four sections XI and XII classes offering Science, Commerce and Humanities streams.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Viramgam, Gujarat was established in the year 1987 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Vasco Da Gamma was established in the year 1986 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
