Kendriya Vidyalaya Bettiah, Patna was established in the year 2003 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ambikapur, Raipur was established in the year 1987 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, No 1, Binnaguri was started in the year 1973 in Binnaguri Cantonment. Since then it has crossed many milestones and touched the pinnacles of success. The Vidyalaya has Classes from I to XII with Science and Humanity Streams. The Vidyalaya has maintained high academic standards in AISSE & AISSCE Examination.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education is running nearly 1229 Kendriya Vidyalayas all over the country to provide qualitative education from Class I to Class XII for the wards of the Central Government Employees and other population. For the administrative convenience, it has been divided into 25 regions.

The idea of encouraging the growth of Secondary Schools with a common syllabus and medium of instruction for the benefit of the children of Central Government employees, including defence personnel liable to frequent transfers was first approved in November, 1962.
