Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bolarum was started in 1980 with Col. G.S. Kapoor as the first chairman of the Vidyalaya and Mr. Jones Deva Prasad as its first Principal. The Vidyalaya was initially housed in the impermanent Cavalry Barracks of Bison canteen near Naga Deva Temple. In this place now the famous Army Dental College can be found.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanpur began its academic flight as an institute of higher learning sector Vidyalaya in 1965. Since its inception this citadel has not only expanded and flourished in various spheres of education but has also establish its merit and name in the region and the nation in the fields of academic results, literary activities, games and sports.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Jalore, Jaipur was established in the year 2014 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Hakimpet, Secunderabad was established in the year 1983 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, Morar Cantt, Gwalior was established as one of the offshoots of Bhopal Region in July 1980 with 500 students and a few staff members in temporary building. Within limited infrastructure it advanced on its path by leaps and bounds in all arenas, in 1994 school got a permanent building which was sanctioned in 1986.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Golconda was established in the year 1966 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
