Kendriya Vidyalaya Jorhat No. III (RRL) was established in the year 2003 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Mohanbari was established in 1988 to cater to the growing demand of the students both outside and inside the Air Force Campus which is located in serene, sprawling and pollution free Air Force Campus amidst lush, Sylvan surrounding.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Barrackpore (AFS) was established in the year 1964 under the head of Central School Organization. A small school run by the Air Force Organization was taken up and renamed as Central School with a strength of 300 students. Classes were conducted in a small building of Air Force on a land lease of 99 years.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Rail Wheel Factory Yelahanka, Bengaluru was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Maithon, Dhanbad was established in the year 1985 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandsaur was established in the year 1999 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya at the Air Force Station, Salua is one of the Vidyalayas of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan set up by the MInistry of Education. It is a defence sector institution which was established in 1986, primarily to cater the educational needs of the children of the defence personnel's as well as the floating population of the area.
