Kendriya Vidyalaya Central University, Jammu was established in the year 2011 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Raipur was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Bandel, Kolkata was established in the year 1965 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ongole, Hyderabad was established in the year 1986 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education is running nearly 1229 Kendriya Vidyalayas all over the country to provide qualitative education from Class I to Class XII for the wards of the Central Government Employees and other population. For the administrative convenience, it has been divided into 25 regions.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Patratu was established in the year 1981 for enhancing and providing education to the student.
