Kendriya Vidyalaya OCF came into existence in 1985 in the Defence sector with Ordnance Clothing Factory Avadi as the sponsoring agency. The Vidyalaya has a building with an imposing structure inaugurated in October 1995.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Khatkhati, Guwahati was established in the year 1995 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Barabanki was established in July 1996. The building of vidyalaya was A-O type. The vidyalaya was established upto class x but the permission was sanctioned to the vidyalaya to open class XI-Science in 2009-2010. The Vidyalaya got permission to start XI-Science in Year 2009-2010 Now it is running upto class xii with science stream.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, CLRI, Chennai was founded in 1974 as a Institute of Higher Learning (I.H.L.) sector Vidyalaya,The school has affiliation from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offers admission from Nursery onwards.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Dharamshala Cantt , Gurgaon was established in the year 1981 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
