Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Bijasan Tekari, Indore, Madhya Pradesh was established in the year 1986 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Abohar came into existence in month of August 1985 to provide an opportunity through quality education. A co-educational school with unity in diversity is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Kendriya Vidyalaya ITI Mankapur, Varanasi was established in the year 1987 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Udhampur, which is crowned with the title of the SMART SCHOOL in the state, is deemed to be one of the first generation institutions of its kind in our country under KVS. It was established in 1965 under the able guidance of the founder Principal Shri Karam Singh.

National Awards to Teachers was instituted in 1958. The purpose of the scheme is to celebrate the unique contribution of some of the finest teachers in the country and to honor those teachers who through their commitment have not only improved the quality of school education but also enriched the lives of their students.

The Vidyalaya is located in the AIR FORCE Area at Majumdar lines in the rear of Military Hospital and at a distance of 3 km from Ambala Cantt Railway station and General Bus stand. The Vidyalaya has been started in the month of NOV 1964 with a single section which has been expanded to 5 section school in the month of April 2003 with facility of Science, Commerce and Humanities streams i class XI and XII.

Podcast called Shiksha Vani of CBSE disseminates audio content for various subjects of grades 9 to 12, in a timely, educative, lucid and seamless manner. CBSE-Shiksha Vani is available on Play Store for Android phone users. So far Shikshavani contains approximately 400 pieces of content in the form of audio files on topics in accordance with NCERT curriculum.
