Kendriya Vidyalaya, Naval Station, Karanja is one of the premier institutions located in the suburbs (NAD, Uran Taluka) of the metropolitan city Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. Initially it was an English medium school, run by Naval Armament Depot (NAD) under the Chairmanship of Shri N A Malwade. The school's inception as Kendriya Vidyalaya took place on the 1st of July 1970.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Anantnag, Jammu was established in the year 2003 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, NPGC Nabinagar was founded on 14th July 2018. This is a project co-education school under the Patna region of the KVS, This Vidyalaya initially opened with primary classes.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Churu was established in the year 1989 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, Morar Cantt, Gwalior was established as one of the offshoots of Bhopal Region in July 1980 with 500 students and a few staff members in temporary building. Within limited infrastructure it advanced on its path by leaps and bounds in all arenas, in 1994 school got a permanent building which was sanctioned in 1986.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Nizamabad, Hyderabad was established in the year 2018 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
