Kendriya Vidyalaya, Aruvankadu was started in the year 1975. The Vidyalaya has classes from I to XII with an enrolment of 877. Class XI Science Stream was begun for the session 2004-05. The school is situated in the campus of Cordite Factory, Aruvankau (Defence).
