Kendriya Vidyalaya Singharsi, is a Defence Sector co-education school. It started in 1971. Since then it has been doing a commendable service to the defence personnel as well as the hamlets around.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Mankhurd, Mumbai was established in the year 1986 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mahe was established during the academic year 2008-2009 .It is a civil sector school. The school started functioning on 09-07-08 with classes from I to V with one section each.

Kendriya Vidyalaya DLW Varanasi was established in the year 1978 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Vidyalaya was established in December 1986 with primary classes. Over the years, the school progressed and is providing education up to XIIth class. K.V.Bhanala falls under civil sector under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Kangra at Dharamshala.

Kendriya Sainik Board has Hon’ble Raksha Mantri as its President. Kendriya Sainik Board Secretariat is headed by a serving officer of the rank of Brigadier or equivalent from the Navy / Air Force. Kendriya Sainik Board Secretariat is an attached office of Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DESW), Ministry of Defence.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, A.F.S, Hindan opened in 1970 is one of the institutes run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under the Ministry of Education. The Vidyalaya's building and its sprawling 15 acres of green tranquility provide an atmosphere for growth of excellence, both quantitative and qualitative, in all its streams of Science, commerce and Humanities for its 2421 students and 81 members of teaching and non teaching staff.
