This Vidyalaya started functioning in the academic year 1984 at Air Force Station Suryalanka Bapatla. The Vidyalaya aims at all round personality development of the students. This Vidyalaya has got good infrastructural facility with well equipped laboratories and Departments helping in imparting quality education.

The National Achievement Survey (NAS) is a national level large-scale assessment conducted to obtain information about the learning achievement of students of Classes 3, 5, 8 and 10 studying in State Govt. schools, Govt. Aided schools, Private Unaided and Central Govt. schools. NAS does not provide scores for individual student/school.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Adoor, Pathanamthitta Dist had a phenomenal growth as is reflected by the fact by 2004, it became one of the few Kendriya Vidyalayas to be given the rare privilege of introducing a second shift. Quality is the essence of the work culture here and the results of class X & XII Board Examinations stand testimony to this.

Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Bawana was established in the year 1985, with a single section now evolved into a three section Vidyalaya. It is located amid the lush green, pollution free and serene environs of Air Force Station, Bawana about 4 km from Bawana Village and 8 km from Narela sub-city.

National Awards to Teachers was instituted in 1958. The purpose of the scheme is to celebrate the unique contribution of some of the finest teachers in the country and to honor those teachers who through their commitment have not only improved the quality of school education but also enriched the lives of their students.

Kendriya Vidyalaya AMC, Lucknow was established in the year 1963 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
