Kendriaya Vidyalaya IIT was established in the year 1964 with the patronage and assistance of IIT Management. Kendriya Vidyalaya Gonda, Varanasi was established in the year 1994 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
