Kendriya Vidyalaya Keonjhar, Bhubneshwar was established in the year 2001 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya came into the existence [under Civil Sector] during the academic session 2007-08 in the premises of the Rani Durgawati Kanya Shala Parisar, Garha, Jabalpur.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Nehu, Shillong was established in the year 1984 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Rajiv Gandhi Navodaya Vidyalaya (RGNV), Almora is a state run residential school run by the government of Uttarakhand.
