Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Colony, Sivsagar, Assam was established in the year 1974 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Spread over 10 acres of land, it is a three-volume school upto twelfth grade. There is both science and commerce stream in the school. The school is equipped with physics, chemistry, biology and junior science laboratories.
