Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education is running nearly 1229 Kendriya Vidyalayas all over the country to provide qualitative education from Class I to Class XII for the wards of the Central Government Employees and other population. For the administrative convenience, it has been divided into 25 regions.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Kanchanbagh (A DRDO PROJECT SCHOOL) is under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The School comes under the HYDERABAD constituency whose MP is Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi. The School is affiliated to CBSE. There are two sections in each class (from I to XII). The vidyalaya is having Science stream in class XI and XII.

Kendriya Vidyalaya AMC, Lucknow was established in the year 1988 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Minicoy, Lakshadweep is a co-educational institution established in 1988 functions under Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, which is an autonomous organization under the auspices of the Dept of School Education & Literacy.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Palakkad is a fully residential & co-educational school affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi and has classes from VI to XII standard. This Vidyalayas are run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, New Delhi, an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 AFA, Dundigal was established in the year 1977 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
