Situated in a sprawling green environs of Uppal - Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Uppal is a two section school with a beautiful ambience , . Kendriya Vidyalaya Raigarh, Chhattisgarh was established in the year 1987 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Bamangachi was born in January 1986 and started functioning in the Eastern Railway Institute Hall at Bamangachi. Then it shifted to Eastern Railway running room Bamangachi in the year 1988. At that time it was running till Class VIII but gradually it was upgraded and XI commerce stream was introduced.

Started in the year 1995 as a single section civil sector school sponsored by the Odisha. Began with only Primary classes from I to V in a Temporary accommodation of NAC Guest house building. Now from 2004 Vidyalaya is functioning in the permanent campus at Gandhi Marg Angul.
