Kendriya Vidyalaya, Gill Nagar was started on 28th of June 1965. It was housed at 24, Royapettah High Road initially on rent. It began with four classes of the secondary section (class VI to VIII).

Kendriya Vidyalaya Patratu was established in the year 1981 for enhancing and providing education to the student. It has its own pucca grand building having spacious classrooms, big library of good books, well equipped computer labs, a leveled playground surrounded by high boundary walls from all sides to provide a safe and suitable environment for all round development of child's personality.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sevoke Road was started in the year 1981 in Salugara. Since then it has crossed many milestones and touched the pinnacles of success. The Vidyalaya has Classes from I to XII with Science, Commerce and Arts Streams.The Vidyalaya has maintained high academic standards in AISSE & AISSCE Examination.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ordnance Factory Medak, Eddumailaram was established in the year 1985 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Air Force Station, Bhuj was established in the year 1980 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya ITI Mankapur, Varanasi was established in the year 1987 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
