Kendriya Vidyalaya Vidyalaya, NTPC, Anta, Rajasthan was established in the year 1988 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The VIdyalaya is situated in the valley of Nubra River in Diskit which is a subdivision and a tehsil in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. Its inhabited areas form a tri-armed valley cut by the Nubra and Shyok rivers. Its Tibetan name Ldumra means "the valley of flowers"

Kendriya Vidyalaya BSF Hazaribagh, Jharkhand was established in the year 1979 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Raiganj BSF, Uttar Dinajpur was established in the year 1987 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Narangi is one of the premier schools in Guwahati, under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education. The school was established in 1971 under Defence Sector.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Vidyalaya No.1, Golconda, Hyderabad was established in the year 1966 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The scheme envisages award of one lakh fresh scholarships every year to selected students of class IX and their continuation/renewal in classes X to XII for study in a State Government, Government-aided and Local body schools under the scheme.
