The PGI-District is envisaged & developed after the triumph of PGI State with focused objective of assessing districts in six categories namely Outcomes, Effective Classroom Transaction (ECT), Infrastructure, Facilities, Student Entitlements (IF & SE), School Safety and Child Protection (SS &CP), Digital Learning (DL) and Governance Processes (GP) which are further expanded into 12 domains.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Amethi, Uttar Pradesh 2019 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Ajmer was established in the year 1986 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandsaur was established in the year 1999 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Kozhikode, Calicut was established in the year 1965 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bolarum was started in 1980 with Col. G.S. Kapoor as the first chairman of the Vidyalaya and Mr. Jones Deva Prasad as its first Principal. The Vidyalaya was initially housed in the impermanent Cavalry Barracks of Bison canteen near Naga Deva Temple.

Kendriya Vidyalaya, NAL campus, Bangalore was established in the year 1980 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
