Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 Sagar, established in the year 1964, was one of the first twenty regimental schools which was converted into 'Central School' with Sh. N R Limye as it's founder principal. It's a defence sector school and Mahar Regiment Centre, Sagar is it's sponsoring agency.
