Kendriya Vidyalaya, Singharsi, is a Defence Sector co-education school. It started in 1971. Since then it has been doing a commendable service to the defence personnel as well as the hamlets around.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Udhampur, which is crowned with the title of the SMART SCHOOL in the state, is deemed to be one of the first generation institutions of its kind in our country under KVS. It was established in 1965 under the able guidance of the founder Principal Shri Karam Singh.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Aizawl, Mizoram was established in the year 1982 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Ahmednagar was established in the year 1985 with the view to provide higher education for the escape of the defense personnel. The schools established in the defense sector meet the children of defense and especially the paramilitary personnel and in general the need of education of temporary population, along with those of other departments of Central and State Governments.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya, Hamirpur is one of the premier educational institutions of the country. The Vidyalaya was established in 1983 in the civil sector sponsored by the Govt. of Himachal Pradesh to provide uninterrupted education at the school level to the wards of Defence personnel, Central Govt. employees, Ex-servicemen, War Widows and to those parents who can not keep their families with them due to non-availability of Kendriya Vidyalaya...

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Tivri, was established in the year 2018, with a view to impart quality education to the students in this region. Established in the civil sector, the Vidyalaya is administered by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 AFA, Dundigal was established in the year 1977 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.
