Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kanker was established on 1st April 2007 as a Civil Sector School. The school functions with one section from class I to XII (Science and Humanities stream) with a strength of 530 students and 19 staff.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, Morar Cantt, Gwalior was established as one of the offshoots of Bhopal Region in July 1980 with 500 students and a few staff members in temporary building.
