Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhurkunda, Jharkhand was established in the year 1998 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Education, has been a pioneer and pace setter in the field of school education since its establishment in 1964. In-service Education and Training of staff is an integral part of the organisation right from its inception.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Baran, Rajasthan was established in the year 1988 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Situated in a sprawling green environs of Uppal - Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Uppal is a two section school with a beautiful ambience. It is a project school of Survey of India catering to the needs of other Central govenment Institutes like CCMB, IICT, etc. It has well experienced faculty and well equipped labs , it can boast of a big playground which is rare in the center of the city.
