Kendriya Vidyalaya Kalimpong was established in 1985. The Vidyalaya was set up with aim to serve the purpose of catering quality education to the children of the mountaineers region.

Recently It is shifted to its new permanent building at Malihamau Hardoi-Bilgram Road in the October 2018. It is 14 KM away from district headquarters Hardoi.
