Kendriya Vidyalaya Patratu was established in the year 1981 for enhancing and providing education to the student. It has its own pucca grand building having spacious classrooms, big library of good books, well equipped computer labs, a leveled playground surrounded by high boundary walls from all sides to provide a safe and suitable environment for all round development of child's personality.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is a well knit organizational set-up which is marching forward with a mission. There are nearly 895 schools divided in 18 regions. Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 Kharagpur is one of them. The pretentious three storied building in the south side near the Rly microwave Town is worth seeing. It got started in the year 1986 and is being nurtured as a Model Vidyalaya by KVS since the year 2000.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Gachibowli, Hyderabad was established in the year 1987 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The scheme envisages award of one lakh fresh scholarships every year to selected students of class IX and their continuation/renewal in classes X to XII for study in a State Government, Government-aided and Local body schools under the scheme.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Mandsaur was established in the year 1999 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Kailashahar opened in the Year 1993. It is a single section School having Classes I to XII. Science stream is offered at the Senior Secondary Level.
