As a part of the Malaviya Mission 111 institutions have been identified. These centres will be called as Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centres (MMTTC). Furthermore, the scheme is being designed to implement some of the recommendations and aims of the policy, which suggests some key changes to the current higher education system to revamp and reenergize it and thereby deliver high-quality higher education, with equity and inclusion.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Tuli, Nagaland was established in the year 1978 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Sagar was established in the year 1994 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Tumakuru, Karnataka was established in the year 1997 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Ordnance Factory, Chanda, Bhadravati was established in the year 1964 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, A.F.S, Hindan opened in 1970 is one of the institutes run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan under the Ministry of Education. The Vidyalaya's building and its sprawling 15 acres of green tranquility provide an atmosphere for growth of excellence, both quantitative and qualitative, in all its streams of Science, commerce and Humanities for its 2421 students and 81 members of teaching and non teaching staff.
