Kendriya Vidyalaya Bairagarh was set up in the Army Barracks of 3 EME Centre in the year 1975 to cater to the educational needs of the transferable Central Government employees including Defence & Para-Military personnel's.

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Malhar is a fully residential co-educational school fully financed and administered by Government of India through an autonomous organization Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. The School was established in 1987.
