Kendriya Vidyalaya Udupi, Karnataka was established in the year 2015 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education.

The Vidyalaya came into existence in the year 1971 in Defence Sector (Navy) in the Varunapuri Campus of INS Hansa, District-Murmugao in Goa State.

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, FCI, Gorakhpur was established 2003 as a Civil Sector Kendriya Vidyalaya. It was established initially to impart education to wards of employees of defence and other Central Govt Employees.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Bhel Jagdishpur a civil sector school was established in August, 1984. The Vidyalaya is striving hard to achieve excellence under the able leadership of the Principal and a team of highly experienced, qualified and educated teachers.
